April Fools came a week late in our house, had good intentions on celebrating the fun day, but Anthony came down with strep throat. This was a total surprise because this kid never gets sick. Luckily the medicine kicked in and after a few days Anthony was back to himself and the best part Madeline nor anyone else in the family got sick. So a week after April Fools we celebrated with what looked like Spaghetti and Meatballs but really were cupcakes with lots of frosting, chocolate balls and strawberry jam for the sauce. The kids thought it was fun to be able to eat cupcakes for dinner, but their excitement was short lived when I brought out the real version of spaghetti and meatballs, the cupcake version had to wait until after dinner.
