Anthony came home from school a few weeks ago with an exciting piece of paper. The piece of paper was informing us that Anthony submited a piece of artwork to the BISD art show and he was selected. The surprising thing was I didn't even know about this art show. The teachers just asked all of the kids to chose a piece of art from their portfolio to be considered for the art show. I don't think Anthony thought anything of it, until his artwork was chosen; in fact he was the only one in his class to be chosen. Since Mom and Dad had no idea that he entered an art show and we sure didn't know what art work we entered we had to go and see the winning selection. It is fun to see his talents shine through. Way to go Anthony!
