In our house we have a tradition around back to school time. I take each kid out on a date and we pick out their school supplies, pick out an outfit to wear on the first day, and go out for a yummy treat. The kids really enjoy the one on one time as well as finding the supplies they need and crossing them off their list. I enjoy getting to know each child on a personal level and seeing their excitement for the upcoming school year as they buzz around the store finding the things they need.
