At Madeline's school they do character awards each six weeks, Madeline receive the Responsibility award for the 5th six weeks, but due to her being out with heart surgery they gave her award at the end of the year. At the award ceremony the families get to enjoy breakfast and the teachers write a poem for each child using the first letters of their name. Madeline enjoys the award ceremony each year and picking which parent gets to accompany her. Surprisingly she has picked me over her dad a few times, I guess she does really love me! Madeline has been at her school since she was 3 and she has gotten a character award every year. This past year (Kindergarten) was her last year as she has graduated from the PPCD program and now will be going to the same school as Anthony, it is a little nerve racking but we are ready for a new adventure, new friends, and new teachers.
