Madeline's Talent

The last week of January the first graders at Madeline's school were studying Cowboys and Cowgirls. To end the week, the first graders threw a talent show. Not only did it provide a fun time for the kids, but allowed the kids opportunities with speaking and performing in front of lots of people. Madeline had lots of fun dressing up as a cowgirl, and she wore her outfit to perfection. Thanks to a friend we were able to borrow the perfect pink cowgirl boots that just added the perfect touch to her costume. Madeline performed her old standby talent of singing "What a Wonderful World." Madeline totally rocked her performance, and never missed a beat. She did bring a few people to tears, and brought lots of smiles to peoples faces.

For having gone through so much, she exemplifies courage, spunk, and confidence. She knows who she is and is proud of who she is. What a blessing to our family. With Madeline around it is truly a Wonderful World.
