For the past couple of weeks we have been talking about the Liahona and how it guided Lehi and his family to the promise land as long as they demonstrated faith and obedience. We then applied this principle to our own lives in returning back home to our Heavenly Father, we accomplished this by talking about some of the things that the Lord has asked us to do to demonstrate our faithfulness and obedience.
Usually at the end of our FHE lessons I do a recap to make sure the kids understood what the lesson was about. For Madeline I usually point to objects and persons on the pictures and asked her what they are and/or what they were used for, that kind of things.
Here was our last conversation:
Me: "Madeline, what did the Lord provide Lehi and his family with so they could reach the promise land.
Madeline: "The Oklahoma"

WOW!! Such fun things that you are doing! I bet the Africa stuff was really fun and St. Patrick's Day looked like SO much fun! Could you send me that game you made about going to the Promised Land? Is it in a form that you can email me?
