I bought a kit at the store to make a gingerbread house. This is the first year that we made one, the kids loved it. We used all of our Halloween candy. I think next year we will make the gingerbread instead of buying a kit. The kids loved take their lollipops and putting them upside down and using them as trees. The kids really love putting "glue" on the gingerbread house. They got a little carried away. When it was done drying the house was rock solid it would have taken a tornado to destory the house.
